job interview reflection

  1. How did you feel while you interviewed a classmate?  Do you believe that seeing an interview from the employer’s perspective makes you more prepared or not?  Please explain.      I felt like i had to come up with answers on the spot and It stumped me a few times
  2. How did you feel while you were interviewed by a classmate?  Did you feel anxious, nervous, scared, prepared, overwhelmed, confident, etc.?  Please explain why you felt that way.    i was overwhelmed because for most of the questions were difficult to answer them on the spot without thinking about them first
  3. How do you feel about your responses?  Do you think your responses to the questions were adequate or do you feel you could have done better? What question did you find easy?  What question did you find difficult to answer? i could’ve done better but i was overwhelmed because i had no time to think before i spoke and gave answers.
  4. What advice would you give someone who is participating in a mock interview or a real interview? What advice would you give yourself; in other words, how do you think you could improve for your real interview? I would say to come prepared to answer tricky questions or prepare prior to the interview with questions that may be asked in the interview
  5. Yes, I know these mock interviews weren’t real, so imagine how you would perform in the interview if it was real.  What have you learned you need to do to be better prepared?  How should you dress for an interview?  How should you behave before, during, and after an interview?  What should you bring with you to an interview? i need to practice because i need to get a job soon. I would bring my resume, cover letter. Be on time, Be respectful and polite to the interviewer
  6. Evaluate the activity.  Be honest.  What do you think was good about this class activity?  How do you think we could improve this activity for next time, next year? Do you believe this is a skill you do need or do not need in real life?  Please explain. This was a good class activity because it can prepare students for what to expect when interviewing for a job. I believe this is beneficial because we are 16 and many of us are applying for jobs and entering the workforce .
  7. Take one of the 20 interview questions below and write a response that would be GOOD and one that would be BAD, then explain the difference with reasoning. It’s always good to practice job interview questions so that you become more and more comfortable. How do you feel about working with others as a team ? GOOD: While i prefer to work by myself, I am willing to work with others in order to complete a task BAD um, well i sorta don’t like it but like ill do it if have to.

job shadowing reflection

  1. I learned from my presentation that this experience was worth it in determining what career i may go into.
  2. I think i  did a good job on my multimedia, as for my presentation, i think I did well knowing how nervous presenting makes me. you could see and hear how nervous I was.
  3.  Some presentation methods i can include in other projects is that I spoke clearly and loudly.
  4. I wouldn’t have changed anything: I think i did pretty well on my multimedia and presenting. Maybe i can try to overcome the fear of presenting
  5. I wish i could have been less nervous, if i could present again i wouldn’t  freak out about it. Now that i have reflected, I am happy with my presentation
